Spicy Strawberry Lemonade Recipe by Tess Masters, The Blender Girl
serves 2 to 4
2 cups filtered water
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste
3 cups chopped fresh strawberries
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper, plus more to taste
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup, plus more to taste
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger, plus more to taste
Pinch of natural salt
Ice cubes, to serve
Throw all of the ingredients into your blender, and blast on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth. Tweak the lemon juice, bell pepper, maple syrup, and ginger to taste.
Serve whole, or strain through a fine-mesh sieve, then chill, and serve over ice.
